Mahama has done a lot for Ghana like the Expansion of the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) from 441,189 in 2008 to over 1.7 million beneficiary pupils. THIS PROGRAMME IS NOW FULLY FUNDED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF GHANA . Significant increase in the Capitation Grant amount each school receives depending on the enrollment of the school. Introduction of the Youth Enterprise Support programme (YES) to give capital/entrepreneurial supports to the teeming youth into the business world
