We’ll continue to make cocoa farming attractive

OPAYIN AMISSAH ARTHUR,

COCOA FARMERS CANNOT CONTINUE TO BE THE BACKBONE OF GHANAA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.

WE HAVE THE UNIVERSITIES, RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS AND MANY SO CALLED EDUCATED WITH BIG DEGREES AND PHD TITLES, AND ONE WONDERS WHY THESE FOLKS HAVE SINCE FAILED TO USE THEIR ACQUIRED TITLES IN THE SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION TO CREATE MIDDLE LEVEL DYNAMIC INDUSTRIES, MANU´FACTURING FIRMS AND PROCESSING PLANTS AND TO PROPEL ECONOMIC GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT IN GHANA,

DID ALL THESE FOLKS JUST STUDY TO OCCUPY POSITIONS AT THE PUBLIC SECTOR AND FOR THE MANY TO BECOME PRIMITIVE POLITICIANS IN THE COUNTRY.

IT IS AT THE PRIVATE SECTOR THAT A TRUE MARKET SYSTEM WORKS,ABD TO BOOST THE ECONOMY OF THE STATE OF GHANA.

HOW LONG SHOULD THE ILLITERATE HARDWORKING COCOA FARMERS CONTINUE TO BE THE SERVANTS OF THE NATION.

ARE YOU THERE-THIS IS THEN CALLED EXPLOITATION AND PLUNDER OF RESOURCES OF THE NATION BY THE NOISY UNPRODUCTIVE EDUCATED IN THE COUNTRY.

BEWARE OF EASY MONEY.
