The whole vetting exercise is nothing but a shameful act of collective deceit where men in their ruffled over-sized suits of yesteryear sit in front of bewildered committee members and lament on how they are the best for their respective intended positions. It is just laughable.

When i grew up my favourite poem was DESIDERATA. Google and read it well if you have never read it before. But, let me quote a line and it goes " LISTEN TO THE DULL AND IGNORANT, THEY TOO HAVE A STORY< AVOID LOUD AND AGGRESSIVE PERSONS FOR THEY ARE A VEXATION TO THE SPIRIT. UNquote.
This is a free lesson to the Chairman of the committe, Adwoa Sarfo and all those who agressively attack those who ask questions from the opposite side. Every question need an answer, there are never no questions than answers from historic events except the unkown therefore they must be answered to clear all reasonable doubts. Am happy Boakye Agyarko educated us all and didnt ran like the rest would wish him to do. I salute him with 5 stars

the whole system of being vetted by fellow parliamentarians who are sometimes in experience in life and their field of career should be scrapped. we should select non politicians where are well vex in their field and have a vast experience in life. how can of better question will Okudzeto Ablakwa can ask Osafo Marfo, Ken ofori Atta etc. most of the committees members before opening their mouth have run out of confidence.

it is sad to note that some members of the NPP find it difficult to keep their cool and deliver intelligent answers. The appointment committees job is to vet nominess and NOT to protect their party members, after all , their campaign is over, corporate Ghana takes over and all manner of questions with no holds barred, be they stupid or intelligent must be asked and answered but answered.
intelligently by the nominee. This is not a football game or wrestling , this is real and as real as corporate Ghana is.
Adwoa Sarfo calling out to Suhinyi about disrespect, Osei Bonsu protecting the nominee, and the chairman, worse. What a sham, the only one with any integrity is Suhinyi himself.
Crunch of the matter is, the man worked in the New York Bank as vice president. He is a 60 year old f..king grown up nominated to be Energy Minister with international repute. Does he need protection from his party members on the appointments committee ?
Interestingly, however stupid or unintelligent the question was, i believe those who were protecting him, myself, Ndc faithfuls, NPP faithful and the corporate Ghana for that matter were well educated by Boakye Agyarko who decided to skip the unwarranted protection from his party members to answer the question.
The education was in the first two paragraphs of his his where operations of the Bank were simplified and outlined for all, even the dull and ignorant to understand. However Mr Agyarko should have stopped there than proceeding further after exonerating the Bank of New York from all the other Bank of New York branches across the globe and actually zeroing in on the London Bank where the actual incidents happened.
That is education, that were facts all other reasons made his answer looked like pomposity and arrogance at its highest heights. Ruling party must learn lessons of humility and service to the Nation, and next time Adwoa Sarfo, just shut up if you have no questions to ask. Stop acting like the chief security on the appointments committee and opening your eyes like an owl.

Thank you, I guess becos the NPP, the last time around, boycotted the NDC vetting feel that the NDC should not ask hard questions. But fact is that the vetting is for corporate Ghana and not NDC, or NPP, or PPP, or XYZ

truely speaking some questions asked are irrelevant and repetition. The worst was when one of them brought his private affairs as example and by so doing disgraced his wife.
