The competence of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has come under severe attack from a former Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports and the immediate past Deputy Coordinator of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Joseph Yamin.
Mr Yamin questioned the competence of current government to fix the energy problem in the country and praised former President John Dramani Mahama for showing class in dealing with the situation.
“What are we seeing today under President Akufo-Addo and his so-called team of energy experts? Is he not the one who promised us uninterrupted power supply when he was campaigning for power in 2016?” the former minister queried.
He observed that what was bequeathed the current government by his predecessor has worsened and observed that Ghanaians are already regretting voting for Nana Addo and the NPP.
The NDC stalwart also took swipe at the former Presbyterian Moderator, Professor Emmanuel Martey for being mute on energy issues in the country at this time when he promised he would not stop talking about issues bedeviling the country.
“I want to hear the old good Professor speak to the situation so that Ghanaians will know that he had genuine concerns when he attacked NDC left, right and centre. …Let him bring the wise people to come and fix the problem”, Joseph Yamin told mynewsgh.com in an interview.
