Acting Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay, will win to be the substantive Chairman of the party in Saturday’s internal elections, Mr Sylvester Tetteh, Campaign Manager for the Blay camp, has said.
Mr Tetteh told Chief Jerry Forson on Ghana Yensom on Accra100.5FM on Thursday, 5 July that all the delegates from across the country have declared their support for Mr Blay.
To that end, he expressed optimism that the former deputy speaker of parliament will win the polls to ensure victory for the NPP in the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections.
“The campaign has been successful, all the delegates in all the regions have declared support for Freddie, and, so, we will win the elections,” he said.
“We are not relaxing at all until after the counting of the last ballot paper”, he added.
Touching on a campaign promise by Mr Blay to supply buses to each constituency of the party, Mr Tetteh said: “50 of those buses have arrived and the remaining ones are expected to arrive within a week from now.”
