A communication team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region, Mr Raphael Patrick Sarfo has threatened to take his life should the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the region elect Joseph Yammin as their chairman after polls over this weekend.
“I will commit suicide by drinking poison should Joseph Yammin wins the NDC chairmanship race”, the protégé of NPP Ashanti Region chairman vowed during panel discussion monitoring by MyNewsGh.com on Kumasi-based Nhyira FM.
According to the outspoken communicator, he will do everything humanly possible to ensure Mr Joseph Yammin tipped to win the NDC chairmanship race against other three contestants fails.
“Please NDC delegates do not vote for Joseph Yammin as your Regional Chairman”, Raphael Patrick Sarfo admonished.
Meanwhile, NDC stalwart, Mr Afrifa Yamoah has urged delegates to elect Joseph Yammin who is tough to match NPP’ Bernard Antwi Bosiako and garner more votes for it presidential candidate in the next elections expected to be keenly.
“Please vote for Joseph Yammin to match the current crop of NPP executives this region”, Hon. Afrifa Yamoah appealed to over three thousand delegates of the party expected to partake voting on Agyankwa FM’s morning show monitored b our reporter in Kumasi.
