President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has appointed Kwaku Ohene Djan as a Deputy Executive Director of Ghana’s National Service Scheme.
Mr Ohene Djan’s appointment comes following the resignation of Mr Henry Nana Boakye who presently occupies the position of National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party.
Prior to his appointment, the astute administrator served as Executive Secretary of the National Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party.
At press he serves as Vice Chairman of the International Young Democrat Union (I. Y. D.U), which is the umbrella organization for all conservative and right wing political parties across the world.
Thus he brings to the position varied and comparative insights on how systems run in different jurisdictions.
Ohene Djan wields a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the GIMPA School of Governance and Public Policy.
Additionally, he is an alumnus of The Theodor Heus International Academy of Leadership and also the International Visitors Leadership Program of the US State Department.
