The foundation of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Central Tongu Constituency is in disarray following a confusion that has set in among party executives sparking tension, MyNewsGH.com has filed.

Apparently, this is the same constituency Alexander Gabby Hottordze represents as a lawmaker on the ticket of the same party.

MyNewsGh.com is gathering from sources within the NDC that some machinations by the constituency chairman and Alexander Gabby Hottordze himself to suspend the constituency Women Organizer for speaking on a local radio station (Dela Radio) at Adidome.

The Women Organizer, Janet Gbeve in the said interview which audio has been obtained by MyNewsGh.com alleged that: “The party leadership in the constituency is power drunk and want me evicted for confiding in the media with the truth after they failed with their agenda of using my opponent I contested with in the just ended constituency elections to my neglect”.

“I can assure you that their plan to suspend me has failed on arrival because it will worsen the case if they dare” she warned.

From the audio available to MyNewsGh.com, the constituency Women Organizer was called by the political show host Atukpa during their “hododio” program on Saturday October 13, to confirm rumours that she stopped some NGOs from lending financial support to women in the constituency.

In her response, Madam Janet revealed “branch women organizers keep calling me to ask whether it was indeed true I blocked their financial fortunes as being speculated but I told them I knew nothing about the said money and NGO in question. Since they have failed in their bid to make me unpopular all they resort to is malicious and fabricated lies to paint me black”.

Incontrovertible information from some executives, gathered by MyNewsGh.com’s Fred Duhoe indicate that the leadership in that constituency are not ready to work with the Women Organizer because she keeps exposing them to the public via radio interviews.

The Constituency Chairman declined to comment when reached by this portal over the seeming tension following what many described as a covert operation to yank off the NDC women leader.
