Former National First Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) Stephen Ntim has expressed how grief-stricken he is over the sudden death of the Ahafo Regional Chairman of the party, Francis Sarfo Poku.
Chairman Jerry, as he’s popularly called died in a gory road crash on Saturday, July 6th, 2019 which also claimed the life of his aide, Salifu Musah (Shankus).
In a statement mourning the deceased Chairman, Mr. Stephen Ntim said: “I am deeply affected by this news because I have known him personally and worked closely with him on a number of occasions for the party in the former Brong Ahafo Region. He truly loved the party and was so eager to serve as the Regional Chairman. The NPP has indeed lost a great son and patriot who will be remembered by all who know him, forever."
Mr. Ntim extended his deepest condolences to the family of the deceased Chairman and the entire NPP family.
“May the souls of our Chairman/ friend, and Shankus rest in perfect peace.”
