The concerned youth of the govering New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ellembelle Constituency of Western Region have descended heavily on District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area for showing gross disrespect towards President Akufo-Addo.
Their attack on the DCE comes following his reaction to activities as a result of the Government's inability to construct the deplorable Esiama-Nkroful-Aiyinasi road.
It would be recalled that the District Chief Executive for the area, Hon. Kwasi Bonzoh told local newsmen that President Akufo-Addo was going to cut sod for reconstruction of the deplorable Esiama-Nkroful-Aiyinasi road on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.
This promise made, gave happiness to the Constituents, but the President came to Ellembelle only to commission the multi-billion dollar Ghana Gas Operational Headquarters at A.B Bokazo.
This failed promise made by the DCE, gave room for some Constituents to ridicule President Akufo-Addo-led Government.
In a statement issued and signed by leaders of the group, copied to the media, they said the attitude of the DCE was making the party unattractive to the floating voters in the area.
The statement emphasized that "Mr. President, before your visit to Ellembelle constituency on the 23rd of July, 2019, for the commissioning of the office complex for Ghana Gas, the DCE had already moved to polling station by polling station and made series of advertisement on radio stations priscisely West End Radio to create awareness among the good people of Ellembelle that the president will cut sod for the commencement of Esiama - Anyinasi road on the same day".
The statement added that "Indeed, the Ghana gas office complex was commissioned while the sod cutting for the road failed".
The statement claimed that "On Thursday, 25th of July, 2019, the DCE, kwasi Bonzoh was on West End radio to castigate and put the name of the President into disrepute for public ridicule for no justification and apparent reasons".
According to the statement, "In the DCE's statements on West End radio, he said : "the president has failed the good people of Ellembelle because if the government can waste huge amount of money on AFCON, why can't they get money to construct Esiama - Nkroful road?".
The statement noted that "This revelation by the DCE made the NDC communicators strong and they are now describing the president as "anti-Nkrumaist".
This conduct by the DCE angered the constituency executives of the NPP and the communicators respectively.
They have since been mounting defense of the president while at the same time throwing salvos at the DCE".
The statement, is therefore, urging President Akufo-Addo to investigate the DCE or rebuke him if found culpable.

ELLEMBELLE DCE ATTACKS THE PRESIDENNCY- CONCERNED YOUTH OF ELLEMBELLE NPP
Concerned youth of Ellembelle is greatly disappointed about the confusion being created by the DCE for Ellembelle, Hon. Kwasi Bonzoh.
Mr. President, before your visit to Ellembelle constituency on the 23rd of July, 2019, for the commissioning of the office complex for Ghana Gas, the DCE has already moved to polling station by polling station and made series of advertisement on radio stations priscisely West End Radio to create awareness among the good people of Ellembelle that the president will cut the sod for the commencement of Esiama - Anyinasi road on the same day.
Indeed, the Ghana gas office complex was commissioned while the sod cutting for the road failed.

In the DCE's statements on West End radio, he said : "the president has failed the good people of Ellembelle because if the government can waste huge amount of money on AFCON, why can't they get money to construct Esiama - Nkroful road?".
The DCE fumed, "The president failed to cut the sod because some few constituency executives connived with him to sabotage my efforts".
This revelation by the DCE made the NDC communicators describing the president as "anti-Nkrumaist". This conduct by the DCE angered the constituency executives of the NPP and the communicators respectively and have since been in defense for the president while at the same time throwing salvos to the DCE.
Mr. President, we are much aware that the DCE is your golden boy but your continuous silence about his bad conducts in the constituency will inevitably make the party unattractive for most of the youth and floating voters in the constituency.
We count on you to investigate and rebuke him because he is gradually becoming a disease against the success of the party in the constituency.
