Meet The Newly Appointed Deputy Ministers

The President, J.A. Kufuor, has sworn in an additional 20 deputy ministers at the Castle, Osu. President Kufuor administered the oaths of allegiance, minister of state and secrecy and later presented to them the instruments of their appointment.

They are Mr Joe Ghartey, Deputy Minister, Attorney-General; Dr Gladys Ashitey, Deputy Minister, Health; Mr Kwaku Agyeman-Manu, Deputy Minister, Finance and Economic Planning; Mr Osei Bonsu Amoah, Deputy Minister, Education and Sports; Mrs A. Baiden-Amissah, Education and Sports; Mr William Ofori Boafo, Defence.

Others are Mr Kofi Poku Adusei, Deputy Minister, Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Andrews Adjei-Yeboah, Deputy Minister, Lands and Forestry & Mines, Mr Clement Nyivorli Eledi, Deputy Minister, Food & Agriculture, Ms Anna Nyamekye, Food & Agriculture; Dr W. Nii Okai Hammond, Deputy Minister, Food & Agriculture; Mr Moses Dani Baah, Deputy Minister, Private Sector Development and PSI; Dr C.Y. Brempong-Yeboah, Deputy Minister, Manpower, Youth & Employment.

The rest are Ms Cecilia A. Dapaah, Deputy Minister, Works and Housing, Mr Kwadwo Affram Asiedu, Deputy Minister, Trade and Industry, Mr Magnus Opare Asamoah, Deputy Minister, Road Transport; Mr Stephen Asamoah Boateng(pictured), Tourism and Modernisation of the Capital City.

Ms Patricia Appiagyei was sworn in as Deputy Minister, Ashanti Region; Mr George Hikah Benson, Deputy Minister, Upper West Region and Susana Mensah, Deputy Minister, Eastern Region.
