The National Chairman for PNC, Bernard Mornah has criticised the ruling NPP government for deliberately neglecting their own party member who fought so hard for the NPP in the Upper West Region.

Bernard Mornah said he's disappointed and frustrated seeing his political mentor, Dr. Boye Bandie in a situation he wasn’t supposed to be, looking at his contribution in Ghana’s political landscape. Bernard made the critics when he paid homage to the former parliamentary candidate for the Nadowli -Kaleo Constituency, Dr. Boye Bandie.

The National Chairman for PNC who doubles as the parliamentary candidate for the Nadowli-Kaleo constituency has paid homage to Dr. Boye Badie, a former parliamentary candidate and a mentor to Bernard Mornah.

Dr.Boye Bandie, who is a planning consultant, a senior lecturer at the University for Development Studies, Wa Campus and a former parliamentary candidate who contested in the 2016 general elections on the ticket of the NPP has been left to his fate despite his enormous contribution to the party and the society in general.

The two times parliamentary candidate has been battling with stroke for the past years and has not received any delegation or support from his own party which is now in power.

Speaking to the media after a visit, the national chairman for the PNC said the visit is meant to sympathise with him, adding that it was disheartening for the NPP party to abandon such a personality to suffer despite his contributions to the success of this government.

On his part, Dr. Boye Bandie disclosed that he sold so many of his belongings ranging from lands, houses and vehicles only to seek health care.

He added that the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia paid him a visit only once when they were in opposition, but till date, no party official has ever checked on him again.
