The Ashanti Regional (A/R) Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Dennis Kwakwa has admonished the leadership of the NPP in the region to commit more resources to execute the strategic plan of the party’s regional Youth Wing to guarantee more votes and victory in the 2020 general elections. Mypurefmonline.com reports.

He made this remark when he took his turn to address Delegates and Party Leadership at the just ended NPP Youth conference and rally that took place in Tamale emphasizing that the Ashanti Youth is prepared to galvanize massive support and votes from the region with the youth wing as the main base.

The Youth Organizer stated further that the A/R is not just the stronghold of the party, but also occupies a strategic landmark location on the Political map of Ghana which must be strategically utilized to the party’s advantage.

He said the enthusiasm of the Ashanti NPP always spills over and diffuses to all other political regions of the country and it will be beneficial if the party commits enough resources to the Youth base so they can strategically embark on initiatives and campaigns to attract electorates, most importantly first time voters and free SHS beneficiaries to ensure that the party benefits from implementing ‘good life saving policies’ for the youth.

‘If we all commit to this project, we will get first time voters in the upcoming elections to vote for the NPP and sustain the strategy for all elections using the blue print that has been developed and tested during the 2016 elections.

The visibility at the polling station level will hold the front till the end of the elections. The party therefore, must commit more resources to the real foot soldiers to ensure that the agenda 47/47 in Ashanti comes to fruition. To whom much is given, much is expected’.

He revealed in his conclusion remarks that the Ashanti region under the leadership of Chairman Wontumi will surely deliver 30-35% of the 50%+1 popular votes for Nana Akufo-Addo to retain power.
