Let us focus on developing Karaga - Dr Amin Anta urges politicians

The 2020 NPP parliamentary candidate for Karaga, Hon. Dr. Mohammed Adam Amin Anta has urged politicians in the constituency to focus and channel their energies and resources towards the development of the area.

According to him, nothing is more important than bringing the needed development to the people of Karaga.

The former Tamale Mayor and Deputy Northern Regional Minister in the erstwhile Kufour Government stated that, it’s important the entire constituent’s including all political actors within Karaga focus on the developmental shortcomings of the area.

Dr. Amin Anta speaking to the constituents hinted that access to electricity, portable drinking water, road network, sanitation, farm logistics, education facilities amongst others have been the notable challenges of the people within Karaga and its communities.

“I will do everything possible within my capacity to address these challenges to the best of my ability,” he affirmed.

The Deputy Minister of Energy urged his colleague politicians across all the political parties in the constituency to channel their energy to addressing these problems instead of name calling, insinuations, insults, heightening of tension, vilification and lies.

He advised that parties and parliamentarians come and go but life and politics continue.

“I am guided by my 20 years of political experience in this country.”

The 2020 NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Karaga even before he showed interest to contest the Karaga seat, has been bringing the needed development to the people of the constituency and many communities have since been connected to the national grid through his benevolent gestures.

The District Executive of Karaga, Hon Alhassan Yabdow who was part of dignitaries that witness the sod-cutting ceremony by Mr Amin Anta to drilled a 50 mechanize boreholes in the area emphasized that, the provision of boreholes will go a long way to mitigate the problems of water in the beneficial communities.

On electricity, Hon Yabdow stated that many communities will soon join the national grid, saying an ongoing electricity project embark on by Mr Anta has been taking over by NEDCO to put things in order.

He said the project was given to NEDCo to execute because they realized that substandard and wrong specified cables amongst other logistics were used to connect the electricity for the community.

“NEDCO advised that it will be dangerous when the light is put on, as a result, the company took over the project on behalf of government to do the project.”. He revealed

He urged, the constituent’s to throw their support to Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam Anta to continue his agenda of projects for Karaga. “Lastly, all these wouldn’t have been possible without President Akuffo Addo led government. “Four More For Nana,” he remarked
