Members of the Adansi-Fomena Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has commended the government for resuming construction works on the government hospital project in the town.
According to the party members, the hospital project, which was started by the former government was dear to the hearts of the people, and the decision by the government to revive and complete it was laudable.
Addressing a press conference at Fomena in the Adansi North District, Mr. Akwasi Nti Asamoah, constituency chairman said the people in the area were very happy over the coming back of the contractor who was working on the project to the site to continue work.
“We commend the President for his commitment to work for the good of the country by bringing the work on the project back again”, he stated.
Mr Asamoah said everybody in the district was aware of the hullabaloo that surrounded the Fomena Hospital project, which was stalled under the previous administration for unknown reasons.
He appealed to the contractor to ensure that the project was completed, this time around since it was a priority project to the people in the area.
