The National Accreditation Board (NAB) has revoked the Institutional and programme accreditation status granted to AIM Professional College of Education, at Ho, in the Volta Region to operate as private College of Education in Ghana.

The revocation is as a result of AIM Professional College of Education’s operation of campuses, outside the authorized area of operation in Ho without recourse to NAB.

This was contained in a statement of revocation, signed by Mr Kwame Dattey, NAB Executive Director, and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra, on Tuesday.

The statement explained that the action of AIM Professional College of Education is contrary to section 8(1) and (2) of the NAB Act, 2007 (Act 744) and Regulation 1 (1) and (2) of Tertiary Institutions (Establishment and Accreditation) Regulations, 2010 (L.I. 1984).

The statement, therefore, cautioned the public, especially residents of Ho, Hohoe, Dambai and its environs, to desist from responding to advertisements enticing them to enroll at AIM Professional College of Education or programmes it purports to offer.

The statement also cautioned the public that any person who conducted business with the institution did so at their risk.
