Akrofu Xeviwofe Bags ?70m For School Project

The people of Akrofu Xeviwofe in the Ho District of the Volta Region have realized ?70 million at a fund-raising rally in aid of a primary school block, reports CHARLES AGBELIE.

Mr. George Alorsor, Shipping Manager of the Ghana Shippers council, in an address, urged the citizens to be committed to the development of the town.

He congratulated them for realizing the amount which he said would go a long way to start the project.

Mr. Alorsor, on behalf of the people, appealed to the government to extend the President’s Special Initiative on Cassava to the town since they had a large tract of land for cassava cultivation.
