A former Wa Central parliamentary candidate aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Hudu Mogtari, joined other Muslims in the constituency today to celebrate the festival of sacrifice, Eid-ul-Adha.

The former Food and Drugs Authority boss participated in Eid prayers at Naa Sidiki Bomi Park, along with thousands of people.

His presence at the prayer center was greatly appreciated by Muslim leadership, NDC supporters, and the public.

It has become an annual tradition for Alhaji Hudu to observe one of the two Islamic festivities with his constituents as a way of bonding with them.

During a brief interaction, Alhaji Hudu Mogtari urged constituents to embrace peace, respect for law and authority, and, above all, unity of purpose for the development of the Upper West Region.

Alhaji Hudu Mogtari has spent the past few days in the region rallying support for the NDC and participating in various political and social events.

One of these events was a Fundraising Dinner organized by the Upper West Regional Executive Committee of the opposition National Democratic Congress, where he donated a pick-up truck, twenty-five motorbikes, and thirty thousand Ghana Cedis.

He has also been meeting with constituency and regional leadership at various levels to strengthen the goal of winning all eleven parliamentary seats in the Upper West Region.

Additionally, he is scheduled to meet with women and youth groups in the Wa Central constituency.
