Koforidua, Nov. 13, GNA - The All Nations University College is helping to reduce graduate unemployment in the country by offering courses that have high demand in the economy, the Deputy Registrar of the College, Mr Ebenezer Nicholas Okyere, said.
Speaking to the GNA in an interview, he mentioned some of the courses as Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
Mr Okyere said the educational system in the country needed to expand enough to open up opportunities for people to further their education and acquire new skills that are required for the development of the country.
Mr Okyere said the situation where almost all the tertiary institutions in the country tended to offer the same courses leading to undue competition for the graduates did not enhance the human resource development of the country.
