The Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs Ghana (AYE) has held a stakeholder breakfast meeting at the Fiesta Royal Hotel in Accra. The breakfast meeting, the first of its kind to be held this Year by the Organization was to bring together some of the Young Entrepreneurs in Ghana with the ultimate aim of networking, consolidating the views of members on national and economic issues for Advocacy.
In attendance were some leading young entrepreneurs from IT, Manufacturing, Finance, Media and Fashion. Notably among the attendees were Mabel Simpson of Msimps, Awurabena Agyeman of Wear Ghana, Selassie Woanyah of Diamond Capital, Aya Morrison Roni Nicole of Roni Group and Eyram Tawiah of Leti Games among others. The meeting was led by the President of AYE and CEO of Horseman Shoes Tonyi Senayah.
Mr. Senayah, encouraged members to take advantage of the collective and trade among themselves in order to open avenues for close collaboration and wealth creation.
The Chairman of the National Executive Council Mr. Alain Gbeasor, MD of GS Specialty Chemicals, local detergent manufacturing company who spoke on the way forward urged members to avail themselves for capacity building to learn about the Tax incentives for members as well as training programs in financial management, proposal writing, marketing and communications.
The members were hopeful that going forward, AYE members will be considered by the Government for Official Business Trips to make real the Youth Enterprise Support for employment and job creation.
AYE Ghana will undertake periodic mentorship programs aimed at assisting member businesses to avoid unnecessary challenges faced by young businesses.
The Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs in Ghana is a national network of young entrepreneurs and business leaders in Ghana, mostly between the ages of 20 and 40 years created to champion entrepreneurship and Job creation by young people for National Development.
