Apam (C/R), Oct. 18, GNA - Members of the Apam Secondary School Old Students Association (ASSOSA), are to visit their alma mater on October 28, to interact with the students.

The visit dubbed; "Homecoming" visit would afford the old students the opportunity to inspect some projects executed by the school's Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), the Old Students Association and the Gomoa District Assembly.

Briefing the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at the school on Wednesday, Mr Archibald Kobina Fuah, Headmaster, described the theme; "Discipline - Key to Success in life", which was chosen by the executives of the Association for the visit as most appropriate since that subject was a thorny issue in schools in the country.

Mr Fuah also commended the leadership of the old students for planning the visit, which would go a long way to boost the morale of the students who would see them as role models.

"I am happy that the President of the Association is a woman and that will encourage the girls to learn hard to become what she is," the Headmaster stated and added that such visits should be made regular feature.

He said some of the projects to be inspected include fence wall, toilet facility and improving lighting of the streets by the PTA, a KVIP toilet project by the Assembly, the provision of dinning hall tables and benches by the ASSOSA and rehabilitation of the masters' bungalows. The Headmaster said Dr Ishmael Yamson, an old student of the school and Mrs Charlotte Abakah, President of ASSOSA would lead the interaction with the students.

He said the Association would also donate books to the school's library.
