Apam (C/R), Jan. 13, GNA - Apam Secondary School obtained 100 percent passes in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSSCE) held last year.

Mr Archibald Fuah, Headmaster of the school who broke the news to the GNA on Wednesday at Apam said out of 534 students presented for the examination, 397 students qualified for tertiary institutions. He attributed the success to serious academic work like extra classes initiated by tutors of the school.

Mr Samuel D.T. Borkorm, Senior Accountant said the school with a total population of 1,804 students was facing a serious water problem. He said as a result, his outfit spent 750,000 cedis a day to hire tankers to provide water for the school and appealed to the GetFund to provide the school with a water tanker.
