Assembly and NYA aid Osoroase School

Osoroase (E/R), Aug. 9, GNA - Eastern Regional branch of the Nationa= l Youth Authority (NYA) has started rehabilitating a six-classroom block whic= h was recently destroyed in a severe rainstorm that hit Osorase. The West Akim Municipal Assembly supplied the roofing materials for th= e commencement of work on the block.


Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, Mr George Mensah Akpalu, the Municipal Chief Executive said it was necessary for the Assembly to supply the building materials for the early completion of work. Mr Akpalu expressed his appreciation to the communal spirit of the NYA and urged the inhabitants of the area to join the on-going project. Dwantoahene of the town, Nana Afari Darko, pledged the support of the people to provide communal labour to the project. Nana Darko said the provision of the building materials by the Assembl= y and the volunteerism by the NYA was very timely.
