Nkawie (Ash), June 15, GNA - The 500 million-cedi new office block for the Atwima-Nwabiagya District Education Directorate that the district assembly financed has been completed.
Last Monday, some officials of the assembly and the education directorate inspected the project. All the electrical installations have been completed with the exception of the plumbing works, yet to be completed.
Mr Baffour Asare-Bediako, an Assistant Director of Education, expressed satisfaction with work so far done. He, however, urged the contractor to speed up work on the minor plumbing works to enable the staff to move in. The directorate is currently accommodated in a block of six classrooms at the Nkawie Secondary/Technical School and this is affecting the intake of more junior secondary school pupils. 15 June 05
