Kumasi, Dec 26, GNA - Mr Sampson Adu-Poku, Assembly Member for Ntribuoho Electoral Area of the Kwabre District, has cautioned drivers plying the Afrancho-Ntribuoho road to be extra careful during the Yuletide.

He said it would be sad to hear someone losing a member of the family during this period through the recklessness of a driver. Speaking to the press on Friday, Mr Adu-Poku expressed concern about an accident that occurred on the road last Wednesday involving a taxicab and called on the drivers to avoid speeding.

The Assembly Member asked passengers to be bold to caution drivers against reckless driving, adding: "Life is very precious and we should not allow anybody to toy with our lives at all."

Mr Adu-Poku called on the Department of Feeder Roads to help rehabilitate the road as a matter of urgency because there were many accident-prone spots on the road.
