Nana Abena Takyiwaa Amonu Gyamfua II exchanging pleasantries with Otumfuo
The Queen of Assin Nyadowam, Nana Abena Takyiwaa Amonu Gyamfua II, has paid a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
Accompanied by an entourage led by the Chief of Assin Nyadowam, Nana Akromampen II, the visit was to thank the Asantehene for his support and guidance over the years.
The Asantehene warmly welcomed the entourage and congratulated the Queen on her enstoolment, urging her to rule with humility and respect for her subjects.
The Queen also paid a visit to the Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, to express her gratitude for her kind support.
In an interview with OTEC News reporter Jacob Agyenim Boateng, Nana Abena Takyiwaa Amonu Gyamfua II thanked the Asantehene for granting her an audience, describing it as a huge honor.
She pledged to lead her people with unity and development, focusing on improving living standards in the area.
The visit, she said, strengthens the bond between the Assin Nyadowam and Asante kingdoms, fostering a relationship built on respect and cooperation.
