Accra, March 19, GNA - The Valga Youth Association has commended President John Agyekum Kufuor and the government of Ghana for creating the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba district.
The Association said, the Chiefs, elders and people "say a big thank you" to the President.
In a press release signed by the National President of the association, Mr Joseph Nongiri Naah Vugu said the group would work tirelessly with all ethnic groupings in the new district in line with the Presidents' vision of bringing development to deprived areas. The association asked the people to consider the creation of the district as a challenge and urged them to face it with zeal, non-partisanship and commitment. 19 March 04.
