Alhaji Mohammed, GPRTU Vice Chairman of Adieso in the Upper West Akyem District, has appealed to the authorities to stop the “Okada” boys in the area.
Alhaji Mohammed made the called with Ghana News Agency at Adieso saying, several warnings have been made through the Nsawam Police who even arrested some of them.
He said these boys who are illegally doing business at the lorry park struggle for passengers with the station cars drivers which according to Alhaji Mohammed does not help the drivers at the lorry park.
He said since the beginning of this year, seven persons have died through motorbike accidents and many of such riders did not have the requisite license.
