Accra, Dec., 28, GNA- The Moderator-elect of the Global Evangelical Church, Rev. Emmanuel Gbordzoe, on Sunday urged Ghanaians to have courage and take bold initiatives to counteract challenges that confront them.
Rev. Gbordzoe was preaching the to round off the fifth delegate conference of the Global Evangelical Students and Associates' Ministry (GESAM) in Accra.
He said no one should lose hope in the midst of problems because God has endowed on those who have belief in Him to solve their problems.
He said initiative is an integral part of human endeavour, which could be achieved if one breaks away from mental slavery. Rev Gbordzoe said it is now easy to take an initiative but one must have courage to pay the price through sacrifice and pains to achieve success in all spheres of life.
He dismissed the perception that taking initiative is solely for leaders adding, that everyone should attempt at finding solution to problems before calling for external assistance. Rev. Gbordzoe described David as stated in the Bible as one who relied on God and eventually achieved success in the encounter with the Goliath.
