The Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai District Assembly has within the past 18 months completed 11 projects at a total cost of GH¢604,065.37.
These included classroom blocks, teachers’ accommodation, markets, CHPS Compound, washrooms and provision of potable water.
Mr Joe Adansi Bondah, the District Chief Executive (DCE) who made this known to the Ghana News Agency, mentioned some of the beneficiary communities as Sefwi-Afamu, Dansokrom, Humjibre, Debiso, Dominibo Number-Two, Nkronua, Kosina and Bibiani.
The assembly, he said, is striving to bring development to the people and transform their lives.
In line with the government’s vision to improve education infrastructure, a number of schools in the area are expected to receive support from the Ghana Education Trust Fund.
The DCE appealed to the people to unite and work together to address the social economic challenges they face.
