Buffer Stock boss prioritizes sanitary needs of Pusiga all-female schools on his birthday

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Buffer Stock Company (NAFCO), Alhaji Hanan Abdul-Wahab has prioritized the sanitary needs of all-female schools in the Pusiga Constituency of the Upper East Region.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the area in commemoration of his birthday earlier this week, did not only interact with female students to learn about their aspirations but also distributed sanitary pads to the schools.

“I’m excited to share that as I celebrated another year of God’s goodness in my life yesterday, I took the opportunity to give back to the Pusiga Constituency. To mark the occasion, I distributed sanitary pads to selected all-female schools in the constituency. Interacting with the students, hearing about their educational journeys, and learning about their aspirations was a pleasure.

"Thank you to the community leaders, school authorities, and everyone who celebrated with me yesterday. Together, we can build a brighter future for Pusiga,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

Pusiga residents in recent times, indicated that the area has seen a positive face of development through the efforts of Alhaji Abdul Hanan Wahab-Aludiba.

They stated that some of the projects initiated so far include an AstroTurf pitch, borehole projects, accommodation for health staff, a road network, and many others

Hanan is an agricultural engineer, a post-harvest expert, a trained development practitioner, and a consultant with expertise and experience in grain storage technology, hermetic storage, project design, as well as monitoring and evaluation. He has practical experience in hazard analysis and critical control points as well as quality control and quality assurance.

He is also experienced in impact analysis and is familiar with the design and implementation of integrated food security and development programs, due to his academic and professional backgrounds, consolidated with the key roles he played in several other types of research that focused on food security. He has also been involved in several research studies, particularly in the middle and northern belts of Ghana.

Hanan attended Kalpohini Secondary Technical School in Tamale, the University for Development Studies (UDS), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST and the Henan University of Technology in China.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc. Degree) in Agricultural Technology, a Master of Philosophy (MPhil. Degree) in Post-Harvest Technology, and a Master of Science (MSc. Degree) in Grain Storage Technology.
