A new ultra-modern CHPS compound for the improvement of maternal healthcare delivery in the Pentengsa community of the Builsa South District of the Upper East Region has been commissioned today.

When they are pregnant the travel very far to access health services and because of that some don't even go at all".

"One of the reasons we have high maternal and infant mortality rate is because of the lack of access to health services. This will definitely help reduce maternal and infant mortality in this community".

District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, Daniel Kwame Gariba, who took the minister round her tour of the district called on community members to make use of the health facility.

He urged them to keep faith with the Nana Addo government more life-transforming policies and projects.
