The Covenant Family Community Church (CFCC) has held its eighth ordination service at Ark Temple in East Cantonments, Accra, marking a historic milestone in the life of the ministry.

The solemn yet joyous ceremony brought together congregants, family members, and well-wishers to witness the ordination of one apostle, five reverend ministers (all male), and 17 elders comprising 11 females and six males.

The newly-ordained leaders were prayed over and commissioned to serve with dedication and humility.

The church described the 2025 ordination as a defining moment for CFCC.

It emphasised that the commissioning of an apostle, ministers, and elders "is not only a spiritual responsibility but also a strategic step in strengthening the church’s capacity to disciple believers, expand outreach programs, and contribute to national transformation."

In his exhortation, the presiding minister highlighted the importance of leadership rooted in faith, integrity, and service.

He noted that "the ordination reflects CFCC’s commitment to raising leaders who will guide the congregation, support community development, and uphold the values of the gospel."

The event featured vibrant worship, thanksgiving, and words of encouragement from senior clergy and invited guests.

Many attendees expressed joy at seeing more women take up leadership roles, underscoring the church’s inclusive vision for ministry.

As CFCC continues to grow, the ordination of these leaders is expected to deepen its impact both within the church and across Ghana, reinforcing its mission of building a covenant family dedicated to Christ and community.

The ordination service was officiated by a distinguished lineup of clergy, including Rev Dennis Osei-Manu, General Overseer of Covenant Family Community Church; Rev Dr Emmanuel Ansah, Deputy General Overseer of CFCC; Very Rev Cdr Ferdinand H Gbewonyo (Rtd), former Moderator of the Global Evangelical Church; Rev Gottfried Osei-Menash, Pioneer Executive Director of the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelisation; and Apostle Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi, former General Secretary of the Church of Pentecost.

About Covenant Family Community Church

Formerly known as Soul Clinic International Church, Covenant Family Community Church (CFCC) traces its roots to a fellowship founded in 1968 by the late Rev Vincent McCauley.

Rev McCauley, remembered for his pioneering vision, also established the Soul Clinic International School, laying a strong foundation for both spiritual and educational impact.

The church was officially registered on December 18, 1986, and in 1994, it ordained its first two ministers — Rev Denis Osei-Manu and Rev Emmanuel Ansah.

This marked the beginning of a new era of leadership within the ministry.

In April 2004, the church unveiled its new name, Covenant Family Community Church (CFCC), a rebranding that reflected its mission of knowing Jesus, sharing Jesus, and preparing to be with Jesus.

Between 2005 and 2023, CFCC held seven successive ordination ceremonies, commissioning a total of 24 ministers to serve in various capacities.

Today, CFCC operates 12 branches and missions across Ghana, extending its reach and influence nationwide.

The church is also affiliated with the National Association of Charismatic and Christian Churches (NACCC), strengthening its ties within the wider Christian community.
