Cake Tekniks Institute holds graduation

Cake Tekniks International Institute has held its 43rd graduation ceremony in Accra.

The graduation attracted a large audience to witness students who had graduated in sugar craft, cake decoration, floral decoration, bridal make-up and catering.

Mrs Jane Addo, the Director of the Institute, urged the students to make good use of the skills they had acquired and continue to serve the needs of the society.

She said for the past years the Institute has trained several students to have decent occupations.

Mrs Addo said the aim of Institute is to give good quality service to customers and urged the graduates to make an impact in the world of business with their skills and creativity.

She said that cake designing could be likened to architectural skills as it brings out the creativity of the designer to impact on the cultural expectations of the society.

The best students were acknowledged and given certificates.

Ms Wendolene Adoley emerged the overall best student in theory and was crowned Miss Cake Tekniks amidst jubilation from the gathering.
