Campaign against indiscipline should be extended to adults

Kumasi, Feb 26, GNA- The Centre for Moral Education (CEMED), a non-governmental organisation (NGO) with a mission of instilling good moral values in the youth, has said campaign against indiscipline must also be extended to the adults.

Mr Opoku-Agyeman Prempeh, Executive Director of the CEMED, who said this, explained that indiscipline and immorality were negative attributes of life, irrespective of one age.

He was speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Kumasi on Tuesday on achievements made by the CEMED in promoting good moral values amongst the youth.

He described the crusade initiated by the Vice President, Alhaji Aliu Mahama to fight indiscipline in the system as a step in the right direction that ought to be supported by all groups and individuals. Mr Prempeh suggested the setting up of secretariats at the regional capitals to help facilitate the spread of the message on indiscipline.

He said it is the conviction of CEMED that it is of no use for any country to produce academicians who are indiscipline.
