Abekoase (E/R), Dec. 25, GNA - The chief of Abekoase in the Atiwa District, Barima Akromah Acheampong, II, has made a passionate appeal to the Ministry of Roads and Highways to rehabilitate the road from Akim Abakoase to Akim Sekyere to link the Accra - Kumasi highway. Barima Akroma Acheampong made the appeal at Akim Abakoase on Saturday, and said the 10-kilometer road also served other farming communities in the area where many tonnes of foodstuffs were always locked up. He said the situation made it rather difficult for farmers to bring their produce to the marketing centres at Subiriso, Akutuase and Abekoase.
