Ejisu (Ash), April 16, GNA - Nana Afrane Okese IV, Paramount Chief of the Ejisu Traditional Area, has launched a four-year development plan for the town. At an impressive ceremony last week-end, the chief mentioned the provision of portable water, quality education, health and sanitation as some of the priority areas in the plan to be tackled with funds from the district assembly and the traditional council. He said all development projects would be documented for easy execution and as a first step he had donated 100 bags of cement, 15 trips of sand and other building materials to the Ejisuman Senior High School (SHS) to assist in the construction of a library. Mr. Akwasi Osei-Agyei, a former Foreign Minister who chaired the function, appealed to citizens both home and abroad to rekindle their self-help and communal spirit to hasten the new development plan. Mr. Kwame Kyeremanteng, Director of the Ejisuman Development Association, presented a cheque for GH¢1,000 on behalf of the association towards the development plan.
