Accra, July 8, GNA- A six-day international conference to sensitise child evangelists to facilitate the transformation of the lives of children began on Thursday in Accra.
About 250 participants from Africa, Asia and America are attending the conference under the theme: "The cry of the lost chid." It is organised by Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), an interdenominational Christian Organisation aimed at presenting the gospel to children outside their churches The Revered Richard Akwei Acquaye, Director of CEF in West Africa, explained that children were by nature, delicate and demanded maximum attention to prevent them from going wayward. "When the tree is tender you can easily mould it, but when it is old it becomes difficult". He said.
He said participants were expected to use the experience acquired from the conference to help minimise delinquencies among children in their respective countries.
