Christians entreated to show love to less privilege

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Prestea Huni/Valley Constituency, Mr. Francis Adu-Blay Koffie has entreated Christians to continue to show love and affection to the less privilege in their communities as they celebrate the birth of Christ.

He said as followers of Jesus Christ, this was the time to show love and compassion in order to draw people closer to God.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Prestea on Wednesday, the MP asked Christians to take stock of their actions and inactions for the year and not to forget communities and individuals who were going through difficulties during the celebration.

Mr. Koffie said although the economy has not been favourable to most industries in the country, people must to have hope in God to change the situation.

He also urged the churches to pray for the nation especially state officials to enable them seek God’s direction and assistance in the coming years to make life better for Ghanaians.

The MP used the opportunity to thank God for his faithfulness and protection for the people in his constituency and promised to set new targets and work hard to achieve them.

He appealed to those living in his constituency and Ghanaians at large to remain united and be patient with the government which is working hard to improve the lot of the people.
