Christians must prove that they are true ambassadors of Christ

Accra, March 27, GNA - Apostle Daniel K. Noble-Astu, Head of the Kaneshie Area Zone of the Church of Pentecost on Sunday said, for Christians to prove that they were true ambassadors of Christ, they must learn to forgive one another and serve as an encouragement to mankind.

He said it was a sin for any Christian, who by his deeds would drive people away from God, adding, "let us change our character and prove that we are the followers of Jesus Christ, who died to bring reconciliation between man and God."

At the 2005 Easter Convention of the Church held at the Accra Academy School, Apostle Noble-Astu said Christians would be judged by their deeds and as ambassadors; all eyes would be on them.

The Convention forms part of the Churches celebration of the Resurrection of Christ, and was attended by over 4000 members, who prayed for stability, development and peace for the nation. It was under the theme " Jesus Christ, The Unchanging Lord".

Apostle Noble-Atsu said Christians must endeavour to prove by their behaviour that they served a living God, who was always ready to forgive and this, they must exhibit at their workplaces, home and everywhere they would find themselves.

He said any Christian, who could not forgive was not worth to be called an ambassador of Christ, adding that, this would defeat the purpose for which Christ died to bring peace to the world.

He said the death and resurrection of Christ signified unity and reconciliation among all people and urged Ghanaians to make the issue of tribalism or ethnicity a thing of the past.
