Committee builds teachers' quarters at Miema

Mr.Kwesi Ahwoi, Minister of Food and Agriculture, on Tuesday inaugurated 365,000 Ghana Cedis teachers' accommodation , constructed by the Miema Landing Beach Committee, at Miema.

He appealed to the people to place national interest above their personal and political interests, and contribute to national development.

Mr. Ahwoi said the NDC Government was undertaking good works, and asked people in the area to support the Committee to implement more projects.

Madam Emelia Arthur, Deputy Western Regional Minister, commended the Committees for executing projects in Miema and asked the members to discharge their duties honestly..

She called on Ghanaians to support the Government’s Better Ghana Agenda.

Mr. Joseph Dofoyena, Ahanta West District Chief Executive, said the work of the Committee would be audited despite its good works, to ensure accountability. **
