Committee on children's education goes to Asikuma District

Breman Asikuma (C/R), Sept 10, GNA- Mr Samuel K. Anfako, the District Chief Executive for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa, on Tuesday inaugurated a 13-member Ghana National Education Campaign Coalition and appealed to parents to attach importance to the education of their daughters.

He said the refusal of some parents to educate their daughters because they think the " kitchen is their future", should be a thing of the past.

Mr Anfako said he has no doubts that the committee, which is committed to promoting education, will do its work well. He commended the Commonwealth Education Fund (CEF) for sponsoring the programme.
