Community want Afrancho-Ntiribuoho road tarred

Kumasi, Dec 14, GNA - The Chiefs and people of Ntiribuoho, in the Afigya-Kwabre district, have appealed to the Government to ensure that th= e eight-kilometre Afrancho-Ntiribuoho-Sasa-Bomso road is tarred. The road is currently under construction but the work involves just gravelling and the people are not happy with it. Mr Sampson Adu-Poku, Spokesman of the Community, said anything short= of putting bitumen on the road would amount to complete waste of money. He said apart from the dust nuisance, it would deteriorate in no tim= e, especially when the rains set in. Mr Adu-Poku said it was not yet too late for the government to give the go-ahead to the contractors working on it, Messrs KNATTO Complex Company,= to do the tarring, since they still have their equipment at the project site= ..
