Leader of Hope Generation Ministry, Prophet Eric Amponsah popularly known as Computer Man has been “exposed” over claims that he has championed some developmental projects in the Tano South Municipality.

Computer Man is alleged to have granted interviews to some media houses in the country claiming he has built a 4,000 capacity durbar ground for the people of Dwomo in the Tano South Municipal and has also renovated the market in the same community.

Reacting to the reports at a press briefing, however, the Municipal Chief Executive for Tano South, Collins Offinam Takyi has denied the claims saying Prophet Eric Amponsah has never initiated any project in the Dwomo Community.

Mr. Takyi said, “This town has no ultra-modern center for funerals and other functions with a capacity of over 4,000 population amounting to millions of Ghana Cedis built by Prophet Eric Amponsah.”

The MCE disclosed that the renovation of the Dwomo Market was solely done by the then Tano South District Assembly from the MP's share of the common fund at the cost GHC27,865.30.

He also rubbished allegations levelled against him by Computer Man including his involvement in the Dwomo Chieftancy disputes.

He noted that there are well documented reports on Prophet Amponsah by the then District Security Committee (DISEC) of Tano South on how complicit "Computer Man" is in the Dwomo Chieftaincy issues.

Mr. Takyi also debunked allegations by Computer Man suggesting that investors who have shown interest in investing in projects in the area are being frustrated.

According to him, one, "Mr Joseph Arthur approached the Assembly with a reply to a proposal he submitted to the 1D1F Secretariat and needed endorsement from the Assembly which we have done and in constant touch with him as he goes through the process."
