One of West Africa’s first-class luxury safari lodge Zaina Lodge which is located within the Mole National Park, the largest game reserve in Ghana will be closed temporarily from 30th March, 2020 to 30th June, 2020 as part of safeguarding measures for the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis.
A statement by the Management of Zaina Lodge said; “Zaina Lodge will be closed temporarily from March 30 to June 30, 2020, as part of safeguarding measures for the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis”.
“This is to ensure that our guests and the hotel staff will stay safe and healthy and to help prevent the virus from spreading further. All room reservations of Zaina Lodge will be cancelled”; the statement added.
Nkilgi FM spoke to the Deputy General Manager Mr Noah Delaara and he confirmed that Zaina Lodge had a management meeting and decided to close.
He said the official date for reopening the Lodge is 1st July, 2020 but it could be early than date depending on the situation on the ground.
