Winneba, April 20, GNA - The Acting District Chief Executive for Awutu-Effutu-senya, Captain Steve Kwamena Armah (rtd), on Tuesday toured some examination centres for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the district.

A total of 4,216 candidates from various junior secondary schools in the district are taking part in the examinations at 13 centres at Winneba, Senya-Beraku, Awutu, Bontrase, Bawjiase and Kasoa. The Reverend Julius Y. Akama, District Examination Officer told the Acting DCE that no examination malpractice had been recorded since the beginning on Friday.

Capt. Armah appealed to the invigilators to maintain the highest professional standard and to ensure impartiality for the successful completion of the test in the area.

He advised the students to avoid all forms of malpractice, which would create a bad image for themselves, their families, schools and the district.

Capt. Armah advised the candidates to intensify their revision in between their papers to enable them to pass with flying colours.
