The Police in Aflao on Sunday morning found the lifeless body of a man, aged about 25 at Akpokploe, a village on the Ghana-Togo border, near Aflao.
The man, whose identity is still not known, had deep cuts on his body and is believed to have been murdered.
Mr Sampson Agbeko, Aflao District Police Crime Officer told Ghana News Agency that at about 0500 hours Sunday, his men upon a hint rushed to the village and found the body, which had since been deposited at the Aflao District Hospital morgue for autopsy.
He said members of the community claimed hearing the screams of someone crying for help at the outskirts of the village.
Mr Agbeko said those who managed to get there found the body in a pool of blood.
He said there is no clue about the murder and investigations are going on.
The murder comes three weeks after the alleged murder of Yaw Simon Tenge Dzisam, a 22- year- old tertiary school student, at Gemadzra, near Aflao by unknown persons, who took away the borrowed motorbike he was using as a commercial carrier.
