He told the assembly that Life Church International of the United States of America (USA) would soon establish a Vocational Institute in the community.

Mr. Anthony E. Amoah, MP for the area said the high level of poverty in the district required, "The adoption of the basic needs approach", to help the people to have access to education, health care and transportation and to ensure food security. He stressed the need for the Assembly to increase its internally generated funds (IGF), contract loans from the banks and other financial institutions to facilitate the development of the area and to encourage the youth to make education their priority.
