Dodowa (B/A), March 28, GNA - Residents of Dodowa, near Sankore in the Asunafo District of Brong Ahafo have appealed for the construction of bore-holes in the town to ease the perennial water shortage in the area. Elder Tetteh, Chairman of the Unit Committee, who made the appeal at a community forum at Dodowa, said the town depended on a stream called Bosompem, which dried up during the Harmattan season. He added that this problem was often compounded by widespread pollution from the source of the stream, posing the threat of contaminants and water-borne diseases.
