Mad. Gertrude Mensah, the Ejisu-Juaben Municipal Director of Education, has appealed to teachers and heads of junior high schools (JHS), to stay away from examination centres, saying they should allow the invigilators and supervisors to do their job.
She said those found loitering at the centres and trying to either interfere with or undermine the integrity of the examination would be sanctioned.
She said this when she toured some of the centres with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr Afrifa Yamoah Ponkoh.
She expressed satisfaction with the way things had gone so far and said she did not anticipate any problems.
Students from 86 public and private schools are taking the examination.**
